Mathias de Sallieth was a Czech engraver, draftsman, etcher and publisher. As an engraver, he reproduced many paintings with maritime subject matter. Sallieth has worked in Vienna, Paris, The Hague and Rotterdam. In the latter city, he died at the age of 42.
