Coenraet Decker (1650 – 1685) was a Dutch engraver during the Golden Age.
The engraving shows Haarlem and its surroundings from a bird’s eye view from a fictitious hill during the Siege by the Spanish. In the foreground, the encampments of the Spaniards and the Regal Monastery in the middle. In the background a sea battle on the Haarlemmermeer and the dunes on the North Sea. The South is at the top.
