Brothers Reinier and Josua Ottens founded the publishing company R&J Ottens in 1726. After the death of Reinier I in 1751, his son Reinier II continued the publishing business with his uncle until 1765. However, the names are reversed: J&R Ottens. The publishing house mainly publishes reprints of older records.
