Daniël Stopendaal was a Dutch engraver. He was probably trained as a printmaker and draughtsman by his father, Bastiaan Stopendael, who practiced the same profession. Between 1685 and 1713, he worked in Amsterdam. He made several engravings and etchings of maps and world maps.
